A Vibrant Laid-Back Wedding at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, Massachusetts

Kristin Driver (26 and a writer) and Theresa Driver (26 and a physical therapist) met through their crew team, their first meeting happening during a particularly intense practice. It didn't take long for the two become best friends — "Nothing creates a lasting bond quite like five mile runs and 4 A.M. practice in freezing temperatures," says Kristin. Seven years later, while taking a stroll along the river on a chilly winter day, Theresa pulled a small red box and popped the question. The couple headed to Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA for their end of summer nuptials. The historic manor, rich in both charm and character, offered a picturesque backdrop for the two to say "I do." Kristin and Theresa chose a bright cheerful color palette of watermelon, orange and green and lush bunches of vibrant bells of ireland, orange mokara orchidas and hot pink calla lilies to bring the Willowdale Estate to life. "The grounds are lovely, the staff friendly, accommodating, and professional and we especially loved the outdoor pavilion for the reception," says the couple. "The all inclusive package and gourmet catering made Willowdale impossible to say no to."
