A Vibrant Flower-Filled Wedding at the Ford Plantation in Richmond Hill, Georgia
This couple love flowers so much, they had them hanging from the ceiling. Tori Ritch (28 and an e-commerce and marketing manager) and David Rotter (36 and a chef and restaurateur) initially wanted to fill their reception tent with vibrant wildflowers, but realized their vision of small, mismatched arrangements wouldn’t fill the space. “And just like my husband (who always dreams big), he said we should hang flowers from the ceiling,” the bride says. “One of my absolute favorite things in our wedding was our upside-down flower arrangement that hung above the feasting table.” Kiwi Fleur turned the couple’s idea into a reality, with bursting blossoms in orange, pink, yellow and cream throughout the reception in all shapes and sizes to bring a whimsical atmosphere to their wedding at the Ford Plantation in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Tori and David stood out with their wedding-day styles: The bride wore an off-white lace wedding dress with a mocha underlay, and David stood out from the lush green backdrop in a royal blue suit with pops of orange to match Tori’s flame calla lily and orchid bouquet. As if this couple weren't sweet enough, we can’t believe what happened on their wedding day: “Before the wedding, all I kept thinking was, ‘I can’t wait to marry this man,’ ” Tori says. “I think my husband felt the same way, and during our ceremony, we both got so lost in the moment and in each other that we forgot to repeat after our officiant for the ‘I do’s.’ ” See the stunning details captured by Donna Von Bruening, below.
