A Two-Day Interfaith Wedding at Loring Social and Aria in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Physicians Sarah McIntire (31) and Brian Muthyala (35) threw a two-day celebration honoring their respective Christian and Hindu backgrounds. First up, they had an elegant Christian wedding at Sarah’s church, then the festivities continued at a downtown loft space with a muted color palette of dusty blue, gray and peach. The next day, guests joined them for a traditional South Indian–style wedding at Brian’s temple with bright pinks, red and gold. When planning a fusion wedding weekend, “do what makes sense for your relationship and families,” Sarah says.
