A Tuscany-Inspired Wedding at Marco Beach Ocean Resort in Marco Island, Florida

From the overflowing florals to the wine-cork escort cards and colorful accents, Robyn Colucci (a hairdresser) and Joseph Colucci’s (owner of Colucci Catering) beach wedding was straight out of Tuscany. The day started with a sweet barefoot ceremony and unity-sand tradition. Botanicals on the Gulf placed three goldenrod roses and greenery along each white chair as burgundy, red and white rose petals covered the sandy aisle. The most eye-catching arrangement was their wedding arch. Robyn and Joseph said “I do” under a display of burgundy, pink, and orange blooms that covered the top of their white arbor. The celebration continued inside Marco Beach Ocean Resort as each burlap-lined table was met with lush arrangements of greenery, blush garden roses and red chrysanthemums atop iron candelabras and around black lanterns. Robyn and Joseph’s wedding cake matched the decor with a soft and delicate touch. The team at Kakes by Karen baked a three-tier white confection with delicate white dots and burlap across each tier. Cascading pink and ivory roses and burgundy dahlias added a natural touch to the classic confection. The red velvet and white cake was then completed with a custom black topper with the couple’s initials. Everyone ended their night with a sundae bar, a few tunes from Mobile Sound Entertainment and a personalized ivory bag of seeds as their wedding favor. “We wanted a rustic, Tuscan feel with pouring romance, and that it was,” Robyn says.
