Lauren and Jonathan wed in a lofty location, where gauzy fabric and mini potted plants along the aisle created a warm atmosphere. The soft gray of the invitation suite and day-of paper goods added to the dreamy vibe. The pair hosted a romantic, intimate wedding at an industrial space with billowing white drapery and lots of fresh greenery. “I was inspired by the rustic Tuscan look,” Lauren says. “I wanted to reflect nature and have imperfect elements.” During cocktail hour, guests lounged on cozy, tufted furniture while snacking on granitas. For the family-style dinner, they feasted on shrimp and grits before digging into the four-tier cake and a display of European-style desserts like mini tarts, macarons and tiramisu cups. The couple kept the reception mood romantic with delicate string lights, candles and dim lighting, and they saved the top tier—classic red velvet—for their first anniversary.
