Double dates don't always work out, but Jami and Damien's double date ended in a beautiful, romantic Hawaiian wedding. Both Jami and Damien were invited to "hang out with friends" at an LA Mexican restaurant, but when they showed up, it was clear it was a setup. Being good-natured, the two exchanged numbers, and the rest is history! Since Damien's favorite color is orange, that was the starting point for their tropical color scheme of the outdoor beach wedding held at the St. Regis in Princeville, Hawaii. "We loved the idea of a beach wedding," Jami says. "And Damien specifically requested the island of Kauai. "We found the location through Google Image Search -- it sounds so unromantic, but when I saw the ceremony site online, I hunted down all the info for the St. Regis Princeville and knew that location was the one."

Jami carried purple peonies mixed with greenery for her bridal bouquet, while her bridesmaids each carried smaller bouquets of purple and coral orchids.
White, wooden folding chairs were placed in rows on the grass leading up to the beach at the St. Regis -- the site of the ceremony. In front of the guest rows, the altar was designated with a ring of loose flowers.
Orchid pomanders in green and purple topped staffs of bamboo at the end of certain aisles during the ceremony for a tropical, romantic feeling.
The ring bearer carried a woven ring pillow topped with orchids (and the rings, of course!) down the aisle at the ceremony.

Jami's bridesmaids wore bright, knee-length coral dresses and accessorized with white orchid leis while Damien's groomsmen wore light gray suits topped with the same orchid leis.
