A Tropical Caribbean Wedding at the Jupiter Beach Resort in Jupiter, Florida
Lymarie Limery (38 and a credential specialist) and Samuel Tickner (39 and a telecommunications installation and repair technician) met while working for the same company in 2005. However two years later, the company closed and laid off their employees. Seven months later, their paths crossed again, Lymarie now single and Samuel now divorced. In October 2008, they began dating and four years later became engaged. Samuel was waiting for Lymarie to return from the bathroom after a romantic dinner, and he knelt down on one knee and presented her with a diamond ring that has been a family heirloom in Samuel's for generations. Undoubtedly saying yes, Lymarie and Samuel began planning their Caribbean style wedding. With purple, fuschia, bright green and some orange accents as their color palette, orchids and a variety of other flowers were a perfect choice for their flower arrangements. Keeping their wedding party small, Lymarie and Samuel only included their children during the ceremony. As a special touch, the bride and groom had a unity sand ceremony dedicating it to their children and their new family together. The cocktail hour and dinner service included a variety of Puetro Rican inspired dishes with a Mediterranean twist. The DJ provided soft Spanish music while the newlyweds gave away some fun, sun shaped sunglasses to their guests for fun. "We also made special bags for our little guests with coloring book, crayons, sunglasses, tattoos, cards inside for them to play," says Lymarie.
