A Travel-Themed Wedding at the Seacrest Beach Hotel in Falmouth, Massachusetts

Bianca Guinn (28 and a human resources assistant) and Julian Walker (25 and a film writer, director and producer) met during college at Davidson College in North Carolina. Bianca's cousin introduced the two and after some encouragement, Julian agreed to give things a try and said yes to a date. "I asked Julian out three times before he finally said yes!" says Bianca. But the waiting paid off — seven years later Julian popped the question on Christmas day. "Julian and I had hung Christmas ornaments from the ceiling in our apartment hallway and that morning he called me into the hallway and hanging from one was a ring. He got down on one knee and I said yes before he could even ask," says Bianca. When trying to decide where to get married Julian had only one request, that they say "I do" near the water. The beach loving pair opted for the Seacrest Beach Hotel in Falmouth, Massachusetts, which offered a picturesque setting and had a truly Cape Cod feel. While the couple hoped for a ceremony on the beach, unexpected rain brought everyone inside. Luckily, their florist Vows Floral Design came to the rescue and recreated a beach scene right inside the hotel, so the couple could still exchange vows with the sand beneath their toes. For the reception, Bianca and Julian wanted to highlight their love of travel and the adventures they'd taken together. Avery Carter, Bianca's cousin, was able to translate the theme into custom designed postcard style wedding invitations complete with passport stamps and an illustrated map. The tables were named after different places the couple had traveled to and luggage tag escort cards guided guests to their reception destinations, while doubling as a practical favor for them to use later.
