A Travel-Inspired Wedding at Manor Restaurant in West Orange, New Jersey

Blanca Murillo (35 and an e-learning consultant) and Scott Gleason’s (35 and in sales) travel-inspired wedding at the Manor Restaurant in West Orange, New Jersey, has some serious international flair. Their country-themed candy bar, globe guest book and map cake topper are just the beginning. After a Catholic ceremony on her alma mater’s campus, the couple joined their guests for dinner, dancing and sweets at the historic restaurant. Imported chocolate-covered gummy bears from Germany, chocolate-covered fortune cookies from China and Hershey's Kisses filled their display. For a more literal take on theme, the couple also offered guests a place to sign in. Friend and family members left well-wishes, advice and their names on various countries across Blanca and Scott’s yellow globe. The couple's wedding cake took their motif a step further. They picked out a map-inspired topper shaped into the word “love.” It stood out above four tiers of the buttercream-frosted confection.
