A Traditionally Styled Wedding with a Modern Twist at Cincinnati Club in Cincinnati, Ohio

The high wooden ceilings, painted murals on the walls and marble interior at the historically charming Cincinnati Club in Cincinnati, Ohio, won over Anna Schroder (26 and a human resources generalist) and Ethan Kirkwood (26 and an educational program manager) for their classic nuptials. Traditional style met a touch of modern flair through the old-world interior combined with a splash of color from the mint and navy palette and selection of white flowers. Following the traditional path, Anna and Ethan held their ceremony inside the beautiful St. Rose Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, with ornate architecture that needed no additional decor. The bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces had all white flowers making up the arrangements, from the peony and rose bouquet to the tulip centerpieces inside gold vases. The pop of navy and red against the wooden style of the reception hall at Cincinnati Club created a contrast that worked with the day's style. Let’s not leave out our favorite detail from the wedding: Anna’s Tara Keely white wedding dress decorated with lace that dipped low in the back. A classic dress for a classic occasion! A tip from Anna: “Plan things together. This is a part of the bonding experience, and it will help you grow before you start the next chapter of your lives together.”
