A Traditional Winter-Inspired Wedding at the Society Room in Hartford, Connecticut

Danielle Pannese (35 and a dentist) and Jason Dinerman (36 and a manger of employee benefits) met through a mutual friend, and after just a few dates, they knew they had something special. A few years later on Christmas Eve, Jason popped the question during dinner in front of Danielle's entire family. The couple opted for a traditional affair at the Society Room in Hartford, CT, a unique, historic venue that was once a bank. The space required little decoration, the high painted ceilings, exposed stone and vintage lighting lending an air of elegant ambiance to the decor all on its own. Drawing on winter as inspiration, the Danielle and Jason chose a color palette of winter white with purple accents. Alternating floral arrangements were used on the reception tables, ranging from classic bouquets of white and cream colored roses and peonies to wispy willow branches dotted with white orchids and crystal strands.
