Guests helped themselves to candy served in old-fashioned apothecary jars.
Katie designed the letterpress suite herself and chose a blend of modern and traditional elements.
The bridesmaids matched the bride’s ivory peony bouquet with three blush-colored peonies, wrapped in sheer ribbon.
Guests received mock-carnival tickets that invited them to snap lots of fun shots in a vintage photo booth.
“We made the conscious choice not to do too much to the church,” says the bride. Ferns at the altar and a white aisle runner let the beauty of the architecture speak for itself.
To create dramatic focal points on the tables, the bride’s mother designed tall, oversized arrangements with pink and green blooms, like full peonies and bells of Ireland.
