Elizabeth had no idea she was attending the same university as the man of her dreams. Elizabeth and Michael both went to Denison University in Ohio, but didn't meet until two years after graduation. Elizabeth was living in Denver when a mutual friend introduced her to Michael. Soon after, Michael invited her to a 4th of July party and five years later, they got engaged. Multicolored ribbons were wrapped around each tier of the beautiful cake. Fresh dahlias, cymbidium orchids, and orange roses added an elegant touch.
Candles floated in four glass cylinder vases around each low-lying centerpiece. A mixture of berries, viburnum, Mokara orchids, and cockscomb filled the tables with color.
The ladies carried smaller versions of Elizabeth’s bouquet, with stems wrapped in brown and cantaloupe-colored ribbons.
The bride accented her favorite shade of green with orange and brown accents. Copper linens, gold chiavari chairs, and satin green chair ties and napkins gave the room an elegant metallic sheen.
Elizabeth used a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding gown to wrap her bouquet of orange and white roses, white hydrangeas, and lime-green orchids. She adorned it with a six pence and vintage rhinestone brooches.
The groomsmen’s boutonnieres mimicked the bouquets with lime cymbidium orchids wrapped in orange ribbon.
