A Traditional Wedding at 'Tween Waters Inn in Captiva Island, Florida

High school sweethearts Brooke Moore (24 and in fashion) and Butch Moore (24 and in sales) became engaged in the Bernese Alps while visiting her family in Switzerland. Over the next two years, they worked with No Worries Wedding and Events to plan a traditional white, purple and jade wedding in Captiva Island, Florida. “We both imagined a wedding and reception that felt simply elegant and sophisticated,” says Brooke. The couple chose Chapel By The Sea as their ceremony venue for its simplicity. Tall white hydrangea accents in clear-glass trumpet vases were set at the head of the aisle and outside the church entrance. After Brooke and Butch said “I do,” their celebration continued with an indoor reception filled with purple uplighting at 'Tween Waters Inn. About 150 friends and family members took their places at white linen covered-round tables accented with white fabric-covered chairs, champagne sashes and tall trumpet vase centerpieces filled with white hydrangeas, roses and delphiniums. After dinner, the couple treated their guests to a three-tier white wedding cake accented with white rose detailing. Brooke, Butch and their guests spent the night dancing and taking pictures with a polaroid camera before all left with Norman Love Confections chocolate favors wrapped with an ivory ribbon.
