A Traditional Wedding at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island in Tampa, Florida
This traditional wedding is filled with blush and white florals fit for any romantic affair. Kenzie Shores Photography took in every detail as Amanda Tomlinson (31 and in insurance) and Christopher Bentley (33 and a lawyer) started their day with a church ceremony. Days Remembered by ND, their coordinator, placed two lush arrangements of white and pink roses along the altar as a grand pipe organ created their picturesque backdrop. Amanda met Chris at the altar in a classic lace-covered mermaid-style dress with a sweetheart neckline and delicate beading. He stood beside her in a dapper black tuxedo and white lisianthus boutonniere. Once they shared their first kiss, all continued the celebration with a reception in their hometown of Tampa, Florida. The Westin Tampa Harbour Island's ballroom was lined with tall and low arrangements of pink roses and white hydrangeas as the 150 guests took their seats in gold chiavari chairs. Another detail we loved was the wedding favors. “To tie in Chris’s Kentucky roots, we had Woodford Reserve bourbon balls as wedding favors along with koozies that had our names and wedding date on them,” Amanda says. Each guest was also treated to a slice of Amanda and Chris’s four-tier white wedding cake. Gold beading and blush ribbon accented the confection for a fun twist that matched their wedding colors. After 13 months of planning, Amanda and Chris finished their night by dancing with friends and family. Amanda shares a tip for future newlyweds: “I highly recommend a wedding coordinator. They help keep you on track with what you need to do next and help eliminate a lot of wedding day stress.”
