A Traditional Wedding at the Magnolia House at Trilogy in Groveland, Florida

Jenn Fundora (25 and a pediatric resident) and Chris Fundora (26 and a systems analyst) met through mutual friends and became engaged five years later in the same spot where Chris asked Jenn to be his girlfriend, Disney World. The couple went on a Disney scavenger hunt where each clue led them to a memorable spot in their relationship. Chris popped the question in front of Cinderella's Castle. Like the fairy tale princess, Jenn chose a ball gown for her wedding. She wore a white strapless Casablanca ball gown with an intricately detailed bodice and silver beaded sash. Both silver and plum were used in the couple's color palette. “We really felt that this was a great color palette for a winter wedding," says Jenn. Their traditional winter wedding was held one year later at the couple's church in Florida. Coincidentally, the ceremony was accented in purple for the advent season. The decor moved from purple accents to uplighting and drink in the favored hues in the reception as Jenn, Chris, and their 115 guests entered the Magnolia House. A "Love Potion" made of whiskey and "Purple Passion" cocktails were served as the couple's signature drinks. Guests were then bathed in purple and amber lighting as they entered the reception space. Royal purple linens were matched with silver chiavari chairs, purple napkins and low floral centerpieces in similar hues. Jenn and Chris's wedding cake complemented the decor as the four-tiered white confection was met with purple ribbon at the base of each layer and topped with purple hydrangeas. While the couple planned majority of the details for their wedding, the day was not without its surprises. “Chris and his groomsmen did serenade me at the end of the night, which was an unexpected surprise!” says Jenn.
