Seven years after Aidil Estevez (28 and a business manager) and Luis Malave (28 and a speech language pathologist) met on a church retreat, he popped the question. The couple was scuba diving in Epcot when Luis reached behind a rock and pulled out a Mickey Mouse box with the engagement ring. “The dive master handed him a sign, saying ‘Will you marry me,’ which Luis had upside down, but I got the message,” says Aidil. Inspired by a romantic garden, the couple spent the next 18 months planning a blush, gold, green and white wedding with Soiree Co. Aidil and Luis lined their ceremony aisle at his family’s church, Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with white hydrangea pomanders. After the couple exchanged vows, their 155 guests went to the Hyatt Regency Orlando for an elegant reception. Family-style tables were placed in an “X” formation as each seat was met with gold-rimmed chargers, gold chiavari chairs, gold runners and a variety of centerpieces that included white orchids atop manzanita tree branches, white hydrangea and pink roses. After a plated meal, the couple treated their guests to a chocolate fountain and a suspended five-tier wedding cake placed atop a floral chandelier of white hydrangea and pink garden roses. But, the night was not without its surprises. During the reception, Luis sang “All of Me” by John Legend to Aidil. “It was truly amazing and made the night even more unforgettable,” she says.

Wanting to incorporate their favorite colors into the wedding, Aidil and Luis chose a color palette of green, blush, white and gold.
Aidil walked down the aisle with an arrangement of blush and white dahlias, white ranunculus, white calla lilies, white hydrangea and blush protea topped with crystal accents.
Aidil chose a white strapless ball gown with a beaded corset bodice and tiered organza skirt. She paired the look with a curled down hairstyle and beaded headband.
Aidil and Luis chose Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church as their ceremony space for personal reasons. “Luis and his family are parishioners there. It is also where he completed most of his sacraments,” says Aidil.
Aidil paired her ball gown with silver crystal-accented Badgley Mischka peep-toe shoes, pearl jewelry and a cathedral-length veil.
Each of the couple’s bridesmaids wore a blush strapless, floor-length dress with pearl jewelry and pink sandals. The groomsmen complemented them with black tuxedo, pale pink ties, and white mini calla lily boutonnieres wrapped in gold wire.
The couple’s family-style tables were decorated with tall white orchid and and manzanita centerpieces, low arrangements of white hydrangea and pink roses in breakaway vases and green napkins to represent Luis’s favorite color.
The couple decorated their reception with blush linens, a variety of manzanita tree branches and white orchid centerpieces as well as low arrangements of white hydrangeas and pink roses. Their family-style tables were placed in an “X” formation.
The focal point of Aidil and Luis’s reception was their four-tier wedding cake atop a pink rose and white hydrangea chandelier. “Our guests loved our cake too, they said that it was unique, like our love,” says Aidil.
