A Traditional, Royal Blue Wedding at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Resort & Spa in Clearwater Beach, Florida

Lourdes Sanchez (30 and a law enforcement analyst) and Jonathan Lara (34 and an emergency responder) met through a mutual friend at a local hangout in Tallahassee, FL. On their five year anniversary, Lourdes and Jonathan took a cruise to the Bahamas together. On the dock of the cruise ship under the night sky, Jonathan proposed. They decided to have their wedding at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa where they could have a beautiful, beachfront view. Matching the view, their color palette was blue and gray. A touch of sparkle was an important element to the decor. "Everything had to sparkle for the wedding," Lourdes said. Lourdes' wedding dress, the invitations and the table runners all had a sparkle touch. All of the flower arrangements consisted of white flowers with most of them being roses, chrysanthemums and hydrangeas. Adding a personal touch to the wedding, Jonathan's grandfather officiated the ceremony and gave the blessing at dinner. Lourdes also did an upbeat latin dance with her father for their father daughter dance. Lourdes and Jonathan ended the night with a cookie dessert bar for their guests to enjoy.
