A Traditional, Romantic Wedding at Waterworks in Greensburg, Pennsylvania
Rachael Elias (23 and a special-education teacher) and Aaron Geer (21 and in management) were inspired by Rachael's engagement ring and wedding band. The heirloom rings incorporated settings and diamonds from Rachael and Aaron's families. The couple wanted to reflect the traditional and romantic elements of the ring. To do so, they selected a color palette of mint, blush and ivory for their spring wedding. The reception, which took place at the Cascades ballroom at Waterworks in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, featured white dining tables with mint runners. These tables were decorated with centerpieces of blush and ivory roses and hydrangeas. The bouquets featured similar flower arrangements that the bridesmaids carried with their long mint dresses. The groomsmen matched the dresses by wearing mint ties with their black tuxedos, while Aaron wore a black tie to distinguish himself. Rachael wore an ivory lace wedding dress with beaded embellishments by Casablanca Bridal. Rachael and Aaron say that by having a long engagement, they were able to plan their wedding to be exactly what they wanted. "We wanted to take the time to plan our wedding because it's a special day that happens only once." Jackson Signature Photography was there to capture the day.
