A Traditional Outdoor Wedding at The Grove Plantation in Tallahassee, Florida

Whitney, an attorney, 26, and David, a vice president of business development, 26, met through their parents who were both University of Florida alumni. Their fathers, who were in a fraternity together, met their mothers and found love at UF. Whitney and David started dating when Whitney transferred to the same college in her junior year. They followed in their parents' footsteps and fell in love. As Whitney calls the beach her "happy place," the two make a point to go once a year, says Whitney. David proposed on a Memorial Day beach trip to Palm Coast, Florida. Whitney, a self declared traditionalist, wanted the wedding to be just that - traditional - as it would match their historic venue, church ceremony and her personality. The couple chose navy and white as their wedding colors to complement this theme. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and two-course sit-down dinner at The Grove Plantation. The reception featured a live band for guests to enjoy. The couple made their exit with a glowing toast to their guests for a great night.
