A Traditional Military Wedding at Panache in Jacksonville, North Carolina

Kourtney Bolbat (22 and a member of the US Marine Corps) and Gary Bolbat Jr. (27 and a member of the US Marine Corps) met through a mutual friend at a barbecue. "Our relationship didn't really take off until we started working together," Kourtney says. "My husband proposed to me by tying the wedding ring to our dog. The engagement ring set is from the Vera Wang collection at Zales. The bride and groom are both currently stationed in Jacksonville, North Carolina, so that's where they had their wedding. "We chose to do it here to avoid having to choose either of our hometowns, so we had our families and friends come to us," Kourtney says. "Our wedding venue is called Panache. We choose this place because it was beautiful, but they also did most of the planning and setting up for us. This was great, considering my husband was away for work for most of the wedding planning."
