A Traditional Indian Wedding at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek, Colorado

Sarina Khiatani (31 and a former lawyer) and Vishaal Bhuyan (32 and works in finance) chose the stunning vistas of the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek, Colorado, for their destination wedding. "I had been skiing in Beaver Creek years ago, and I loved the beautiful mountain setting" Sarina says. "It served as the perfect backdrop for our wedding festivities." To not distract from the beauty of the landscape, the couple kept their wedding day colors to silvers, golds and warm colors without sacrificing the traditional brightness of their Indian wedding rituals. With the ceremony embracing Indian traditions of the henna application and the groom riding in on horseback, the couple had to enjoy some dancing to reggae music at the reception in honor of members of the bride's family who live in Jamaica.—Rory Kress
