A Traditional Filipino Wedding at Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park, New York

Every detail surrounding Rhea (27 and a registered nurse) and Daryl Villavicencio's (26 and a technician) waterfront wedding in Island Park was the epitome of classic. from Daryl's black Hugo Boss tuxedo to the couple's elegant ivory invitation suite. "We were gravitating toward a classic black-and-white color scheme until I saw the color of the bridesmaid dresses," Rhea says of the navy floor-length gowns. Dressed in a strapless Allure Bridals design with an embellished bust, Rhea wore navy blue Badgley Mischka heels along with one supremely sentimental detail. "My veil was so special to me since my mom brought it over from the Philippines," she says of the five-foot-long accessory. Before celebrating with friends and family in a waterfront reception at the yacht club, Rhea and Daryl married in an intimate Filipino ceremony that included traditional elements like the exchanging of coins and the release of doves upon exiting the church. Shades of silver and gold lent a gilded touch to the couple's indoor reception—a fete that included extravagant branch centerpieces, sequined linens and one adorabe cake topper. "Our blue and gold cake included a topper of us along with a porcelain dog that mimicked our shih tzu," Rhea says. "I even personally painted the dog brown to match his spots." One detail we especially loved: The bride's lush ivory, rose-filled bouquet, created by Pedestals Floral Decorator. Check out all the romantic details, captured by Olli Studio, below.
