A Traditional, Elegant Wedding at Elkin Place in Tupelo, Mississippi
Claire Stanford (30 and a dentist) and Jeffrey Logan (26 and an accountant) met a mutual friend’s wedding and instantly hit it off. While they lived in different cities, the couple visited each other every weekend thereafter, eventually moving to Nashville together four months later. It wasn’t long before Jeffrey was down on one knee asking Claire to marry him. The couple headed to Claire’s hometown of Tupelo, MS to say their “I do’s.” They exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony at the very church Claire grew up attending, First Methodist Church, surrounded by their family and friends. The reception was held in downtown Tupelo at Elkin Place, a modern space with beautiful park and city views. To bring the space to life, Claire and Jeffrey opted for a color palette of pink, pale purple and green, introducing pops of color through arrangements of lilies, Gerbera daisies, green trick and roses in unique mercury and milk glass vases. And silver table runners added a subtle glam touch to the classic white linens, while warm candlelight added to the venue’s ambiance. Before hitting the dance floor and striking a pose at the photo booth, the newlyweds and their guests noshed on classic Southern barbecue and classic vanilla cake.
