A Traditional Elegant Wedding at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia
Blake Coleman (28 and a project manager) and Daniel Lewis (32 and a sales territory manger) first laid eyes on each other during a youth group service at their temple when Blake was in 7th grade and Daniel was a sophomore in high school. But it wasn't until 10 years later that the two actually met. A mutual friend introduced them at the East Atlanta Beer Festival, but the pair never exchanged numbers. Their paths continued to cross and finally two years after their introduction, Daniel asked Blake for her number and the pair started dating. Daniel popped the question while they were on vacation a few years later with a surprising and well thought out proposal. Before leaving on vacation, Daniel had taken a photo of their dogs, did some photoshopping and had gotten a copy of the menu from the restaurant where he planned to propose in order to create a custom insert. While the two were browsing the menu, Blake noticed that Daniel's menu looked different and within a blink of an eye, Daniel presented her with a custom designed rose gold ring. For their wedding, the couple focused on creating a day that felt timeless and elegant. They chose the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center as the site to say their "I do's," dressing up the stunning historic venue with a color palette of silver and purple and plenty of candlelight and rose petals to create a romantic vibe.
