Fabric draped along a tree defined the couple’s ceremony altar. The groomsmen wore charcoal gray suits that complemented the bridal party’s black dresses in different styles. Each held a bouquet arranged by the bride with personal trinkets from their family members. After a traditional ceremony complete with members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Red Deer firefighters, Susan, Joel and their guests went to the Red Deer Golf and Country Club for their reception. The couple highlighted the space with simple decor of white and navy linens and white centerpieces.
