A Traditional Catholic Wedding at Twiga Beach in Versilia, Tuscany, Italy

Carolina Pedra (30 and a lawyer) and Alessandro Del Guerra (33 and a lawyer) met through mutual friends, but it was a reconnection in the city of Milan, Italy that brought them together. Alessandro proposed at a romantic restaurant on Ocean Drive in Miami, to which Carolina said yes with uncontainable happiness. “The sea has always been in our hearts, and for this reason we decided that the sea and the beach would be in the setting for our wedding day,” says Carolina. Protected by the Alps on one side and the sea on the other, Versilia in Tuscany, Italy was the perfect city for their celebration, which was all captured on camera by Facibeni Fotografia. The couple had a traditional Catholic ceremony in the Cathedral in Pietrasanta surrounded by majestic marble and fresco paintings. The reception brought the wedding party to Twiga Beach, a renowned seaside resort on the Versilia coast where guests could relax by the sea and walk on the sand. “It was an unforgettable day with atmosphere we dreamed of and a warm sun that wrapped us up until the evening,” says Carolina. “Happiness to its fullest; a dream that turned into a beautiful reality.”
