A Traditional Catholic Wedding at the Eaglewood Resort in Itasca, Illinois

Illinois-based couple Colleen (28 and a procurement manager) and Bill (29 and an attorney) celebrated their special day by tying the knot in Oak Park's St. Giles church. Not only was the ceremony space the church and parish where Colleen went to grade school, but it's also the location of Bill's grandparents' wedding! "It was recently renovated and had beautiful stained glass windows and tons of natural light," the bride explains. For their traditional reception, the two moved to Itasca's Eaglewood Resort, where nearly 300 guests danced the night away thanks to a little help from The Steve Edwards Orchestra. As far as wedding advice goes: "Focus on what's important and why you're having this day in the first place," says Colleen. "And when your hotel guests end up crashing your wedding, just let them have a good time."
