A Traditional and Ocean Themed Wedding at the Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club in St. Petersburg, F

Eva Hanna (31 and a physical therapist) and Greg Frasca (31 and a financial analyst) first met when they were seated next to each other on a flight from Tampa, Florida to New York. Greg, traveling for work, and Eva, traveling back home to New Jersey, did not expect to meet the person they would one day marry. After giving Greg her contact information, he and Eva were able to meet for sushi the day before she flew back. “He knew then and there she was the one!” says Eva. The couple continued a long distance relationship until Greg moved to New York. “He proposed the same way they met, sitting next to each other on a flight,” says Eva. This time, the couple was on their way to Paris. Eva accepted and they were wed just under a year later. With an ocean theme, the couple decorated their wedding in hues of blue and had a traditional ceremony. Greg and Eva also incorporated her cultural background into their day with the help of a live drummer during the reception. “He was Middle Eastern and carried the drum around and danced with it along to the beats of Arabic music,” says Eva. “The guests could not get enough! No one could sit down while he was playing. Seeing how everyone interacted with the drummer was a huge highlight.” The couple also had a photobooth at the reception. Guests brought home a photo strip as their wedding favor.
