A Timeless Wedding at the Maison Dupuy Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana
Meredith, 27, and Rob, 31, wanted a traditional New Orleans wedding with a neutral color palette. They chose New Orleans for three specific reasons: "the architecture, diverse culture and definitely because of the food," says Meredith. Both consider it their favorite city and honeymooned there after the wedding. Meredith and Rob had their reception and ceremony at the Maison Dupuy Hotel in the French Quarter. The venue's white cherub-topped fountain served as the wedding's focal point. During the reception, it was lined with tea light candles in votives at different heights. Meredith and Rob chose all white decor and floral arrangements for their wedding. The bridal party carried all white bouquets while the groomsmen wore white boutonnieres by Nola Flora. Meredith's bouquet and Rob's boutonniere included white gardenias as they were her grandfather's favorite flower, says Meredith. The reception was filled with multiple buffet stations including a grits and macaroni and cheese bar. The band 4 Barrel Funk served as their live entertainment. The couple ended the night with a second line parade led by The Original Pin Stripe Brass Band.
