A Timeless Wedding at Eaves Hall in Clitheroe, United Kingdom

Laura Meadowcroft (27 and a history teacher) and Paul Williams (29 and a history teacher) met while they were both working as teaching assistants at their old high school. In a massive coincidence, they had both only applied on the closing date of applications so they were both very luck to get the job - Laura says that it must have been fate! Paul proposed to Laura on a secret holiday to Amsterdam as it was the place that they first went on holiday together and proposed on a walk along a canal lit with fairy lights. Laura and Paul got married at the stunning Eaves Hall in Lancashire in the North of England. Eaves Hall is a contemporary country house with stunning views over the Ribble Valley. "Its Georgian style appealed to us as history buffs," says Laura. "It really fit our rustic wedding feel." The bride wore an Essence of Australia fishtail dress and a fingertip length tulle veil for timeless elegance. The groom looked classic in a gray suit with a pale green tie and a blush rose boutonniere, matching Laura's bouquet and tying together the rustic color palette. Their reception featured classic dining tables with elegant candelabras draped with ivy and roses, and traditional English food. For a whimsical touch, the couple added a word search to the tables, a nod to their professions as teachers, with quiz questions about them as a couple.
