An Elegant Glamorous White Wedding at a Private Residence in Miami, Florida

Krystina Machado (27 and an attorney) and Gabriel Saade (27 and an attorney) met in high school and became engaged soon after she finished the New york City Marathon. Gabriel popped the question in Lincoln Center with an emerald solitaire ring as Krystina’s family and friends held signs that read"Krystina, will you marry me?" The couple worked with ET events over the next 14 months to plan an elegant glamorous wedding accented in white and green. Their venue was easily chosen. “Growing up, I never had any requirements for my dream wedding, except one: It had to be at my parents' house, the house where I grew up,” says Krystina. Grand gold candelabras accented the altar at Plymouth Congregational Church for the ceremony as arrangements of white hydrangea lined the aisle. After Krystina and Gabriel said “I do,” their 220 guests moved the private residence for a cocktail hour and reception filled with personal touches. Candlelit globes and lanterns found by Krystina’s mother lined the pool as guests were given a tequila signature drinks and treated to a the couple’s favorite foods, including lobster truffle macaroni and cheese. The celebration moved to a tent filled with a mix of family-style, square and round tables adorned with neutral linens, lucite chairs, lanterns and white orchid centerpieces atop a bed of moss. Guests were treated to seated dinner, three-tier coconut wedding cake and a “Gentleman's Bar" designed by Krystina’s mother, which was filled with cigars, scotch and bourbon. Tequila shots were handed out on the dance floor as Krystina, Gabriel and their guests spent the night dancing to a DJ. “Gabriel is Venezuelan and my family is Cuban, so Spanish music was perfect to get our families on the dance floor,” says Krystina. After late-night snacks and an “Hora Loca,” or crazy hour, filled with a drummer, dancers, and stilt-walkers, each guest left the party with a mini bottles of espresso tequila, Patron XO Cafe.
