A Timeless Garden Wedding at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia

Pebble Hill Plantation is a picturesque place for a wedding, with its overhanging trees and horses grazing in the pasture. Amanda Gay (25 and a lawyer) and Wes Gay (27 and a lawyer) weren’t even looking to get married in Thomasville, Georgia, but as soon as they saw it, there was no question they’d found their venue. “When you drive through the front entrance and down the main pathway, you feel like you're in another world,” Amanda says. Amanda Blackwood helped Amanda and Wes plan and coordinate their wedding details, including setting them up with Kristi Sanders of At Last Florals. “Kristi designed arrangements that fit our style better than if we had handpicked our own flowers,” Amanda says. For their reception, Amanda and Wes had two wishes: The first was they had one big party with mingling and dancing, and Amplify Entertainment got the party going with all the right songs at the right time. The second was that the reception reflected Amanda and Wes as a couple, both where they came from and where they're going. As a nod to their home in Tallahassee, Florida, they served Bradley’s sausage bites. But the detail that best represented Amanda and Wes was their homemade barbecue sauce wedding favors—they got the whole family involved.
