A Timeless, Elegant Wedding at Tupper Manor in Beverly, Massachusetts

Jonathan Butler (35 and a public accountant) and Heather Marttila (34 and a speech language pathologist) had an intimate engagement on New Year's Eve. Jon greeted Heather at his home with a dozen red roses and a big smile. Heather immediately knew that is was going to be a memorable night. While waiting for a friend to arrive before dinner, Jon got down on one knee and proposed to Heather with a stunning cushion cut diamond engagement ring. "When looking for a venue," Heather says, "we wanted something coastal but also with an elegant indoor space for a ceremony in case of inclement weather." Upon visiting the Tupper Manor in Beverly, MA, they knew it was perfect for their wedding. Heather did not have a theme in mind when designing her wedding but knew she wanted the decor to be timeless. "The classically elegant surroundings inspired my wedding design," she says. For their color palette, Heather chose soft pinks, peach and gold. She considered her flowers to be the most important element of her decor. Arrangements of blush peonies, roses and hydrangeas completed the elegant look while candlelight created a warm atmosphere. Jon and Heather's wedding was a timeless affair that paired perfectly with the elegance of the Tupper Manor.
