A Timeless, Elegant Wedding at the Saint Paul Hotel in St. Paul, Minnesota

It didn't take long for Terra (28 and in sales) and Drake (27 and in sales) to realize they had a connection. "It sounds cheesy, but we knew very quickly that this was 'it,'" Terra says. When the time came for a proposal, Drake scattered candles and ribbons throughout their condo, leading Terra on an impromptu scavenger hunt. "Each ribbon led to a 'stop' where he had written me a letter that summarized significant dates for us," she says. "Each of the stops became a timeline of our relationship and when I came to the last one, it had that particular day's date. It was taped to my door and when I opened it, Drake was already down on one knee." For their August wedding in St. Paul, the couple exchanged vows at the Basilica of St. Mary in front of 250 guests. The bride stuck with a classic, yet elegant look, choosing a lace dress paired with a cathedral veil and a pair of statement crystal earrings. "I took pieces from my mom's dress and wrapped them around my bouquet," the bride explains. "Drake and our dad's all wore bow ties, while the bridesmaids wore off-the-shoulder dresses and nude shoes. I just wanted them to feel comfortable!" Their traditional reception at The Saint Paul Hotel came together with an ivory and gold color palette that the bride describes as warm, welcoming and timeless. "We spent a lot of time making things personalized," Terra says. "In lieu of menus, we wrote thank you notes to our guests and decorated our cocktail hour with old family wedding photos." But one choreographed element at the end of the night completely took guests by surprise. "After a lot of practice, we performed the routine from Dirty Dancing," the bride says. "Luckily we nailed it -- including the lift! We didn't expect it, but the dance went viral and Good Morning America picked it up. They ended up flying us out to perform is live in Times Square!"
