Kristen and Melissa's wedding at The Eve Lounge at The B.O.B. in Grand Rapids was a simple, modern affair. The couple worked with an ivory, white, silver and gray color palette that perfectly complemented the industrial, loft space for a sophisticated, urban chic look.

Kristen and Melissa chose a silver and gray color palette for their wedding party's look to complement the day's color scheme. The bridesmaids wore silvery one-shoulder dresses, while the guys wore light gray suits with silvery vests and ivory and silver striped ties.
The guestbook was filled with photos from the couple's engagement photo shoot.
Our wedding programs were completely DIY. We purchased thick cardstock in two colors, ivory and charcoal. Templates and design for the pages were created using Publisher 2013. We later tied the pages with a satin white ribbon. The programs were handed to the guests upon arrival by our matron and patron of honor.
Kristen wore a boutonniere of two white lisianthuses and silver ribbon on her lapel.
The couple chose a silver and ivory cake to complement their color palette. The cake was covered in ivory fondant and accented with silver ribbon, pearl piping with the bottom layer embossed with a rococo design. Each layer was a different flavor - white cake with raspberry filling, red velvet with buttercream and heath bar, coconut crunch with caramel cream - and frosted with European buttercream.
For the ceremony processional, Kristen and Melissa walked together down the aisle holding hands.
Glass cylinder vases were filled with bunches of hydrangeas and placed on top of square mirrors.
It was really important for both Melissa and Kristen to feel and look like themselves for their wedding. Melissa wore and simple-yet-elegant satin trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline, choosing to wear her hair down in loose romantic curls. Kristen decided on a chic, pinstripe suit and natural looking makeup.
The ceremony had a simple, modern look with rows of white chairs, white rose petals lining the aisles and an understated white trellis.
Melissa and Kristen wanted to incorporate their favorite flowers from their garden so for Melissa's bouquet she used white roses, hydrangeas, lisianthuses and freesia accented with gray dusty miller.
The reception had a sleek, modern style with an ivory and white color palette with silver accents, modern white chairs and simple hydrangea centerpieces that worked perfectly with the unique, industrial-feeling space.
White silk flowers and strands of clear beads hung from the ceremony arch.
