A Sweet, Vintage Wedding at Magnolia House Inn in Hampton, Virginia

Ariel Jonesknuckle (33 and a secretary) and James Ellis (31 and a sheet metal mechanic) met on Match.com. James appreciated Ariel's sense of humor and Ariel liked his intelligence. The pair went on their first date at an art museum in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It wasn't long before they knew that they were meant to be together. James proposed to Ariel at Christmas Town in Busch Gardens with a love letter and a glass slipper with the phrase "will you marry me?" etched into its surface. Ariel and James planned on having a traditional wedding, but at the last minute they decided to elope. "We wanted our wedding to be only about us and not about what anyone else felt," says Ariel.  She and James were married on Valentine's Day. They chose the Magnolia House Inn in Hampton, Virginia as their venue. Their wedding style was vintage, and their simple color palette included blue, blush and white. Ariel looked beautiful in a tea length, vintage style wedding dress with lace appliques. She accessorized with vintage style pearls and blue stone jewelry, blue satin shoes and a rhinestone belt, as well as a fur stole for the winter wedding. James looked handsome in a blue suit, white silk tie and blush rose and baby's breath boutonniere. James and Ariel were radiant as they shared their vows of love and commitment with each other at their sweet and intimate wedding.
