A Sweet Mint and Gold Wedding at Code's Mill in Perth, Ontario

The first time Megan Holmes (28 and a teacher) and Jordan Legg (30 and an insurance adjuster) set foot in Code's Mill in Perth, Ontario, they knew it was perfect. "It's quite stunning without any decoration, so we tried to use soft colors and add little touches to emphasize its beauty," Megan says. Megan and Jordan chose a soft, pastel palette of mint green, gold and peach that wouldn't overpower their industrial venue. "These colors worked really well with the venue and added a nice summer touch to our day," Megan says. The site was used as a tannery in 1842 and was expanded and converted into a wool mill in 1882. The gold accents added elegance and glam to the historical venue. Megan says wore a vintage yet modern, ivory fit-and-flare Essence of Australia dress, which she accessorized with a diamond belt. "I was in love with it," she says of her gown. —Meghan Overdeep
