A Summer Wedding on Gateway Clipper Fleet in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Because Justin Moore (26 and a musician) sees all kinds of venues when he performs with wedding bands, he and Jocelyn Plant (26 and a musician) knew they wanted to host their own wedding somewhere really different. Their reception venue -- the gateway clipper fleet in Pittsburgh -- totally delivered on the originality factor. This riverboat took their guests on a dinner cruise of Pittsburgh's three rivers. And at night, the boat pulled up near PNC Park so that the party could enjoy the fireworks show after the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. Since the venue was so spectacular on its own, Jocelyn and Justin kept their decor simple. Their summery wedding had a color palette of peach, pink and aqua that was carried by the floral design. The bridesmaids, in aqua dresses, carried bouquets of pink roses, white alstroemerias and baby's breath. These matched the pink and white floral arrangements at the boat reception, which included lilies and carnations. Jocelyn herself carried an all-white bridal bouquet with her A-line lace wedding dress. Having worked so many weddings as a band member, Justin has worn many black tuxedos, so he was adamant about not wearing black to his own wedding. Instead, he and his groomsmen dressed in light gray tuxedos and vests with peach rose boutonnieres. Jessica Fike Photography was there to capture all the pretty details at Jocelyn and Justin's wedding.
