A Spring Wedding at Highland Manor in Apopka, Florida

Christine Cocchiola (28 and a mental-health counselor) and Justin Hamilton’s (32 and a law student) spring wedding was completely personalized. Channeling their love of history, they chose the 1905 Highland Manor as their location and let its natural landscape be a part of their decor. Grand oak trees were the backdrop for their sand ceremony and lush hydrangea centerpieces filled their ballroom reception alongside candlelight. But what really made the day special was that it was centered on their family and friends. “Ryan Winger, our officiant, is a very dear friend of ours and served with Justin in the Navy,” Christine says. Her mother also played a huge role in the planning process. She assisted them with all the important details and cowrote a song with Christine’s father for their sweet father-daughter dance. “She was my ultimate wedding planner, and it was such a wonderful experience that brought us so much closer,” Christine says.
