A Spring-Inspired Wedding at Gassaway Mansion in Greenville, South Carolina

Katie Crislip (31 and a speech language pathologist) and Eric Pernotto (34 and works in academic initiatives) combined the spring season with their Southern roots (Katie is from Georgia, and Eric is from Louisiana) for a gorgeous green, pink and white wedding. "It really is all thanks to Gassaway Mansion for asking the right questions and listening to the descriptions I had for the look of the wedding that they were able to execute a design that exceeded my expectation more than I ever could have imagined," Katie says. Katie and Eric easily chose Gassaway Mansion in Greenville, South Carolina, for their nuptials for its gorgeous grounds and historic home. It was a total bonus that it could take care of everything from flowers to catering to planning, which really simplified the planning process for Katie and Eric. One of our favorite details was the stunning oversize hanging chandelier at the reception. The unfinished wood frame was decorated with lace, branches and string lights, and a more traditional crystal chandelier hung in the center. Talk about bringing the outside in!
