A Southern Wedding at Watson House in Emerald Isle, North Carolina

When it came time for Jennifer Hobbs (25 and a nurse) and Drew Bailey (28 and a vice president of Flag Nor Fail) to get married, they couldn't think of anywhere better than where they met, shared their first kiss, exchanged "I love yous" and got engaged. Watson House in Emerald Isle, North Carolina, is a gorgeous eight-acre plantation on the water, and was the quintessential Southern backdrop. Olive Juice Stationery set the tone with pink watercolor flowers decorating all the paper goods. Florist Through the Looking Glass created lush, textured arrangements, such as Jennifer's rose, ranunculus, silver brunia and eucalyptus bouquet. Soft shades of peach and gray were paired with the natural decor to accent the outdoor space. String lights over the farm tables at the reception were a gorgeous alternative to a traditional tent, and let guests enjoy all that Watson House had to offer. But as gorgeous as the venue was, Jennifer stole the show. With an illusion neckline, lace applique and buttons down the back, we love her stunning Watters dress, which she completed with a birdcage veil.
