A Sophisticated Wedding at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington,

A few days before Christmas, Charlemayne told Shameka he was taking her out to dinner as an early Christmas gift, but little did she know he was planning on proposing that December evening. Charlemayne had been shopping for an engagement ring for months, asking her subtle questions about her jewelry taste to make sure he got something she would like. When Charlemayne thought he found the right one, he decided to pop the question at Fogo de Chao, one of his favorite restaurants. Charlemayne had Charlemayne mentioned that he had one other gift in the middle of dinner, and when she asked what it was, that's when he got down on one knee and proposed. And so, the happy couple started planning their dream Washington, DC wedding. They decided to have their ceremony and reception at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center since the space was so convenient to have both wedding events in one place. At the cocktail hour, a string quartet played while canapés and hot d'oeuvres of chilean styled beef empanadas and tequila glazed lamb kebobs were passed around by servers. The couple set up a photo booth and a colorfully unique candy bar instead of the traditional party favors. The night was filled with dancing, laughter and happiness, just as Shameka and Charlemayne had wanted for themselves and their guests.
