A Sophisticated Poolside Wedding at a Private Estate in Duluth, Georgia

Samara Ghougassian (39 and a private jeweler/jewelry designer) met PJ Lynch (53 and a CEO) in a rotating door while entering the Monte Carlo hotel in Las Vegas. Even though they were from Atlanta and San Diego, living on separate coasts didn't hamper their whirlwind courtship. "We got engaged at L'Auberge Del Mar sitting outside watching the sun set and sipping champagne," says Samara. "I was shocked by an airplane pledging PJ's love and asking for my hand in marriage in the sky, followed by a formal proposal and a magnificent yellow-diamond engagement ring!" Samara and PJ were married in their new home in Duluth, Georgia followed by a poolside reception. "We felt our house was the perfect location since we were bringing our two families together," says Samara. The couple exchanged vows on PJ's late grandmother's Persian rug, surrounded by close family and friends. Long tables were set up poolside and decorate in crisp white linens with lush white hydrangea and silver mercury glass arrangements. Guests were greeted with a welcome glass of champagne and were also gifted a packaged custom flute before they left. "We had a signature drink of champagne with St.Germain and our cocktail hour was two and a half hours long at our newly built in-home champagne bar," says Samara. "We wanted to enjoy our day with our family and friends as long as possible!" A dessert bar featured all of their favorites and each treat was named after one of their four children. "As our families came together, it was wonderful to share this intimate occasion with a small group of friends and family," says Samara.
