A Sophisticated, Natural Wedding at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon
Set against the backdrop of one of “America’s Most Beautiful Campuses,” Camille Santos and Joe McMullen’s wedding was a sophisticated, organic affair that paid tribute to the serene setting.
While Camille and Joe call San Diego home, the couple decided to gather their family and friends in Joe’s hometown of Portland, Oregon, for their “I dos.” Lewis & Clark College, which sits on the historical M. Lloyd Frank Estate, gave guests—who came from all over the world—a taste of the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, with its manicured gardens, thick forests and serene atmosphere.
To focus attention on the venue’s natural beauty, the couple kept the color palette grounded in shades of ivory, gold and green. Wood farm tables and earthy moss paid tribute to Oregon’s great outdoors, while acrylic and mirrored accents brought in an element of modern appeal.
Picturesque views weren’t the only things guests were treated to—Camille and Joe packed the evening with plenty of treats and activities, including handmade ice cream from local Salt & Straw and live performances from the Blue Wave Band.
