A Sophisticated Greenhouse Wedding at a Private Residence in Port Republic, Virginia
After dating for three months, Megan Viafora (25 and a health and physical education teacher) and Danny Grogg (24 and health and physical education teacher) knew they wanted to get married, so they wasted no time planning. "We knew we were meant to be together," Megan says. "The funny thing is, even though we started planning early, we stuck to what we chose." Megan always loved mint green and light pink, so they used the lovely combination that helped create a sophisticated style—from the strapless bridesmaid dresses paired with pink flower bouquets, to the pink roses scattered scattered on top of mint tablecloths. Megan and Danny held their outdoor wedding at their family friend's private residence in Port Republic, Virginia, where the ceremony took place in front of a greenhouse. Megan reflected their sophisticated style with her ivory trumpet-style dress accented in lace, which inspired subtle lace decor. At the reception that followed, guests sat at dining tables covered in mint linens that had white lanterns and pink roses decorating the middle. Even the cupcake tower went along with the color scheme, thanks to the mint chocolate and strawberry flavors. See other pink and green details that made up this outdoor, sophisticated wedding, below.
