Emily Ott (27 and a senior account manager) and Chris Beckman (30 and an entrepreneur) drew color inspiration from nature and decked out their elegant day in neutral earth tones and soft pastels.

“I was inspired mostly by colors and décor that were classic and ethereal,” Emily says. Her bridesmaids wore shades of gray, nude or blush, while the ceremony featured natural hues with touches of gold and white accents throughout. “The only colors I wanted to be specific with were the bridesmaid dresses,” she says.

“For me, this dress was just different enough while still making me feel like a bride,” Emily says.

Emily was determined to incorporate the wine crates they got on vacation in Napa Valley, California, into their wedding. Using varying sizes, she created centerpieces overflowing with rosemary, peonies, hydrangeas, garden roses, ferns and seeded eucalyptus, surrounded by gold mercury glass candles.

Calling cake “overrated,” Emily says she and Chris opted for Key lime tarts instead.

The couple had their first dance to Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic.”
