A Sophisticated, Elegant Wedding at a Private Residence in Panama City, Florida

Alexandria (Alex Anne) Spencer (23 a student) and Garrett Brown (31 and a physician) decorated their timeless, elegant affair with ivory blooms and subtle pink accents.

Alex Anne and Garrett married at the waterfront home of a family friend in Panama City Beach. “The upscale landscaping, marble statues, rich-colored upholstery, grand columns and breathtaking décor feels like you’re escaping to a luxury Italian home,” she says. “Celebrating in someone’s house created a warm atmosphere that allowed the guests to relax and purely enjoy the beauty of the wedding. It’s a venue like no other.”

Alex Anne’s dress—a lace A-line design with dainty straps and a full tulle skirt—was the first one she tried on. 

The white marble fondant finish on the couple’s cake mirrored the marble details of the venue.

Reception tables were topped with hundreds of vintage gold mercury glass votives and tall arrangements of garden roses, dendrobium orchids, hydrangeas and greenery in baroque vessels. “I wanted each guest to feel as if they were attending a royal dinner,” Alex Anne says.

“Our live event painter captured our wedding in such a unique way,” Alex Anne says. “I will cherish this for the rest of my life.”
