A Sleek, Timeless Wedding at Lincklaen House in Cazenovia, New York

Allison Mauro (32, works in HR staffing) was living in New York City when she agreed to go on a blind date with "a nice guy from Pittsburgh with a good job." "That was all I needed to hear to say yes!" she recalls. "I'd never been on a blind date before but I thought I had nothing to lose." And so Reid Mauro (33, works in commercial real estate) entered her life. Their first date went so well, that they quickly agreed to a second and a third, and within six months there were living together. "We both knew early on that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and we didn't hesitate planning our new life," says Allison. A little less than a year later while they were on a run together in Central Park, Reid proposed with a solitaire, princess cut engagement ring. When it came time to plan their wedding, the couple settled on the little lake town of Cazenovia, New York—just a short distance from where Allison grew up.  Historic Lincklaen House provided the backdrop for their entire wedding weekend and set a timeless tone for the affair. Inspired by their shared appreciation for a clean and minimal aesthetic, Allison and Reid decided on a sleek color scheme of ivory, champagne and green, which complemented the charming space.

Allison and Reid's wedding invitations featured a subtle script watermark of traditional ceremony vows. "The stationery was special to us because Reid and I wrote our own vows, it seemed very fitting and classic," says Allison.
Allison wore a strapless, satin Pronovias wedding dress with a natural waist, an asymmetrical neck line and touches of delicate beading.

Instead of bouquets, each bridesmaid carried a floral clutch—a gift from Allison.
Each bridesmaid clutch included a special message from the bride sew into the inside.
Allison and Reid hosted their entire wedding day (and night!) at Lincklaen House, a historic Inn with "beautiful bones." "The wedding was meant to flow and be all in one place so that our guests could get an intimate feel throughout the weekend," says Allison. "It felt like the perfect place to share our wedding day with 100 of our closest family members and friends."
Allison carried an all-white bouquet of fluffy peonies.
"We were given a gift, because the weather was 75 and sunny for four days—which is almost impossible in June in Upstate New York," says Allison of their wedding in Cazenovia, a quaint, charming lake town close to where she grew up.

"The table settings were something I struggled with because I felt a pressure to overdecorate," recalls Allison. "Instead we decided on a green wine glass at each setting which was a part of the color scheme as well as the wedding favor."
