A Simple Wedding at Lake Mary Events Center in Lake Mary, Florida
From the mason jar aisle decor to the white hydrangea bouquets, Melanie Aguila (27 and a sports manager) and Steven Foxworth’s (27 and a high school teacher) wedding was sweet and simple with a few rustic accents. “We did not want to have over-the-top decor that didn't reflect our personalities,” Melanie says. Mark Dickinson Photography captured every white, blue and green detail as the couple started their day with a ceremony surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. No. 1 Wedding Planner lined the aisle with baby’s breath in hanging mason jars wrapped in burlap as the couple’s flower girl carried ?a bouquet of the same flowers. Melanie stood out in a sweet lace and tulle wedding dress. “I tried on around 50 dresses from different bridal shops around central Florida,” she says. After a trip to David’s Bridal, the store's team helped Melanie find a dress she had never seen before. She quickly knew it was the one. (It didn’t hurt that her grandmother started to cry happy tears once she put it on.) The couple's planner and florist helped her complete the look with an arrangement of baby’s breath, white hydrangea, white roses and succulents. After Melanie and Steven said "I do," the couple ended their night with a fun reception at Lake Mary Events Center. ?For future couples, Melanie shares a tip: “Go with vendors that make you feel comfortable. Do your research. We did and it was such an ease communicating with them.”
